My name is Ming, I'm an actor, photographer and filmmaker based in West Los Angeles, CA.
I was a business guy in an earlier life. I studied political science, got a business degree, and worked for major corporations. Then I took a left turn and went into acting.
I've always loved film. I took photos when I was in high school with a small Olympus, shooting friends, documenting life, and shooting events at school, including for the yearbook. College and work got in the way of the creative, but when I became an actor, I had more time to devote to photography and film.
I got back into shooting people on film in the late 1990s, when black and white was common. In 2003 I bought my first digital camera, and soon after, in 2005, I bought the latest camcorder at the time, and shot short films. I learned my lighting in the studio, studying lighting when I was an actor on professional sets, and lighting my own film shoots.
Nowadays, I shoot photos and film, and a love a wide variety of subjects - people, models, landscapes - and almost anything from the refined to the gritty and real. Feel free to look around this site, and if you'd like to work together, please don't hesitate to contact me.
